Course description
Study of the environmental impact of the most common materials in the field of construction: energy consumption, CO2 emissions, waste; as well as their possibilities for recycling, reuse and recovery as waste. Description of the construction procedures in environmental mitigation, prevention or recovery works: dredging of rivers, ports and coasts, mining rafts, decontamination, etc., based on the analysis of real cases. Environmental assessment of construction procedures through BREEAM, LEED, CEEQUAL and others.
